On October 5, 2025, at the University of Chicago Comer Children’s Hospital RBC Race for the Kids, David Li, the president and co-founder of Bridge to the Future led and organized a fundraising team and engaged directly with participants and spectators, spreading awareness of the organization’s mission to empower children facing chronic health challenges. In addition, we collected $180 in contributions from community members to support exercise and healthy living for children with hemophilia.
For his leadership, initiative, and commitment to making a difference, David received the Youth Participation Award, recognizing his outstanding contributions to the event and the cause.
“This experience was deeply meaningful,” David said. “It was incredibly inspiring to see how community engagement can bring real impact to children who need our support.”
We plan to continue our advocacy and fundraising efforts throughout the year, partnering with local and international organizations to promote accessible healthcare and wellness opportunities for children with chronic illnesses.
